About UPA

The Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA) is an international organization dedicated to the support of human-centered design and development of usable products. Through conferences, publications, local chapter support and research, as well as a community-building and resource-intense web site, UPA is an advocate and resource for all usability professionals. UPA Iowa is the Iowa chapter of UPA. It was formed in 2006, and has grown to include nearly 100 members from Central Iowa. Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and include software developers, information architects, business analysts, user interface engineers, marketers and usability professionals. Here is a sampling of the Central Iowa companies we represent:
